Our team has dealt with issues ranging from (i) exemption from capital gains on transfer of a capital asset by the holding company to its subsidiary company, (ii) to challenging orders of Income-tax Settlement Commission rejecting settlement applications, (iii) handling appeals against additions of alleged unexplained cash credits and investments, and subsequent re-opening of completed assessments in absence of incriminating material found during the search, (iv) handling appeals against additions on the basis of Remand Reports requisitioned by Commissioner of Income Tax from the Assessing Officers without furnishing the same to the Assessee, (v) seeking a waiver of pre-deposit of tax under the Central Excise Act.
